This
engraved keychain really struts its stuff when you want to keep your
house keys and quickly release your car keys or vice versa.
One end has a large "split" key ring connected to the plunger mechanism. The other end has a ring that pulls out and twists slightly to put the keys on and is connected to the engraved rectangle.
Here's
how it works: Keep your "permanent" keys (for most of us, that would be
the house and office keys) on one end. On the other end, keep the "valet keys" - the keys you'd temporarily "give away" - such as the car keys.
To GIVE away
a key, use the push and pull plunger mechanism. When the keys are
returned to you, push on the top plunger, and re-insert the casing into
the engraved block.
